Community Radio
I love community radio. The concept is a great fit for my “Live Locally, Listen Globally” aesthetic. Thanks to the Internet, I’ve been a regular listener for years to shows on community radio stations like WPKN in Bridgeport, Connecticut and CiTR in Vancouver, British Columbia.
I’m pleased to be part of my local community radio station, KRBX, which broadcasts at 89.9 FM out of Caldwell, Idaho. My show, Ramblers’ Retreat, airs on Wednesday mornings from 6:00 to 8:00.
I also produced a few shows for Global Radio Workshop, a series of programs unfettered by genre, style or structure.
